      Filming at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge is always a treat. The couples have access to the Tunnel Mountain reservoir area, which is one of the most beautiful areas to get married in the town of Banff. The field is wide open and allows for plenty of great shots for both video and photos. Literally right beside the lodge and allows easy access for guests to walk to the ceremony.

     The common room to do the reception is the Wapiti Room which is on the second floor of the lodge. It has a beautiful fireplace as well as access to the balcony and high ceilings. It is also perfect to able to do the grand entrance as the main entrance is the only area where people can enter. Also it gives a lot of length to walk backwards and shoot to make sure the shots are captured correctly for the bridal party when the enter.

    * Make sure your videographer and photographer have Banff Town business licenses as well as the proper licenses to film in the National Park if any of the formals are taken in the park boundaries. The municipal staff and parks staff are checking more often.
