Ceremony, Formals and Reception: Mount Engadine Lodge resort

​

      Mount Engadine Lodge is truly a backcountry wedding location situated right off of highway 742. There is no cell reception here which makes it the perfect getaway, where guests can connect with each other without any distraction. We photographed the wedding of Stephen & Jacqueline at this venue. It was great to reconnect with familiar faces at this wedding as the couple were referred to us by one of our close friends (a wedding we also photographed in British Columbia, click here). The bride and groom were stunning and we especially loved the staircase where Jacqueline walked down to meet Stephen who was waiting and filled with emotion. The long balcony where the couple chose to walk down together before joining all the guests was incredible to witness and capture; and the powerful emotions photographed during the exchanges of vows.

     The platform that is located just a short hike down from the cabins was a great location with the backdrop of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. There is also a stream that is close by that the dogs had fun playing fetch. This was a great venue for convenience as well as the ceremony and reception were shot at the same location.
